Throughput of ZIM at DaChan Bay Surpassing 1 Million TEUs

A reception was held at DaChan Bay Terminal One today to celebrate ZIM surpassing one million TEUs of throughput at DaChan Bay Terminal One. 

ZIM began calling DaChan Bay in August of 2009, and is among the Terminal's first customers in Western Shenzhen. ZIM now deploys 7 services at DaChan Bay, covering all major trade lanes including USA, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Mr. Dan Hoffmann, President of ZIM Asia Pacific Region said "we are pleased to have played such a significant role in DaChan Bay's success over these past few years. Likewise DaChan Bay Terminal One has been instrumental in supporting the growth of ZIM in the Western Shenzhen market since 2009.  Our history with DaChan Bay shareholder Modern Terminals goes back more than forty years, and we look forward to continuing this relationship well into the future".
