Gold Star Line Covers DaChan Bay Terminals in the Upgraded Far East-Africa Express Service

DaChan Bay Terminals, the newest and first-class container terminal in West Shenzhen, will warmly welcome the maiden call of an upgraded Far East-Africa Express Service (FAX) operated by Gold Star Line(GSL) tomorrow on 21 April.  

GSL deploys 8 ships with a carrying capacity of 2,400 TEUs for this upgraded FAX service, allowing a faster transit time and a better connection between various Asian ports and West African main ports. With such an enhanced connectivity between Asia and Africa rendered by this FAX Service, shippers and freight forwarders using DaChan Bay Terminals will enjoy a faster delivery of products to the market.

Mr. Shmuel Yoskovitz, Managing Director of GSL, commented on this service upgrade with enthusiasm: “We are excited to expand our business in South China by adding DaChan Bay Terminals to FAX service, thereby upgrading the port coverage and connectivity of this service to provide better logistic solutions and higher efficiency to customers.”

The upgraded Far East-Africa Express Service provides regular calls at DaChan Bay Terminals every 10 days, following a port rotation of Shanghai - Ningbo - DaChan Bay - Port Kelang - Colombo - Durban - Tema - Lagos - Takoradi - Abidjan - Colombo - Port Kelang - Shanghai.
