Around 70 wood and furniture import and export enterprises and representatives from 9 shipping companies gathered at the “Furniture Avenue” of Dongguan yesterday for DaChan Bay Terminals (the Terminal) Dongguan business seminar.  Also attending were shipping lines such as Maersk, MOL, and ZIM, which are users of  the Terminal, as well as wood and furniture enterprises such as Dongguan Taisheng Furniture Co. Ltd., Dongguan Guanyu Wood Industry Co, Ltd. Shenzhen Lee Chong Hung Logistics Co. Ltd. also introduced its business in the seminar.

Manufacturers showed great interest in the terminal and current shipping services. Active questions with special concerns about American shipping services were answered by the Terminal and shipping lines such as Maersk, MOL and ZIM.  Some wood importers and furniture exporters expressed their wish to cooperate with DaChan Bay Terminal One for the export and import of their products at the meeting.

Occupying a strategic location that encompasses well-developed land and waterway access to both the eastern and western sides of the Pearl River Delta (PRD), DaChan Bay Terminals provides shipping line customers a distinct opportunity to capture new cargo catchment areas as factories migrate inland and to the west of the PRD.
