On 3 November 2008, an opening ceremony for DaChan Bay CIMC* Container Service  Center (the ‘Center’) was held at the parking area of the ‘Center’. The parking area starts operation to provide services to trucking companies from today on.

Representatives from Shenzhen Southern CIMC Container Service Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Dachan Bay Port Investment & Development Co., Ltd. and DaChan Bay Terminals attended the ceremony and cut the ribbon. Over 10 trucking companies signed an agreement with DaChan Bay Terminal One during the event promising to provide trucking services to the customers of DaChan Bay Terminals with prices not exceeding that of the current western terminals in Shenzhen.

“As the first logistics service company starting business in DaChan Bay Port, CIMC DaChan Bay Service Center will make  a contribution to the whole development of the Port as well as the ports in western Shenzhen. DaChan Bay Terminals will grow together with the whole port development and  provide excellent services to our customers,” said Mr. Alfred Yu, Operation Director of DaChan Bay Terminals.
