China India Express Service (CIX) Starts Calling at DaChan Bay Terminals
On 5 November 2016, DaChan Bay Terminals (DaChan Bay) welcomed HYUNDAI NEW YORK on her maiden call at the port on the China India Express (CIX) Service operated by Hyundai Merchant Marine CO., LTD. (HMM) and Gold Star Line LTD. (GSL).
The CIX service is operated by the two companies with six vessels, four from HMM and two from GSL.
Importers with cargo from India to China and exporters sending goods from China to Korea will benefit from the fast transit time of the service via DaChan Bay. The service also provides a cost effective logistics solution and enhanced flexibility for customers in the Asia trade lane.
The CIX Service calls DaChan Bay every Saturday with a port rotation of Gwangyang - Busan - Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Singapore - Nhava Sheva - Karachi - Port Kelang - Singapore - Hong Kong - DaChan Bay - Gwangyang.
