The G6 Alliance and ZIM Nominate DaChan Bay for New Asia-US East Coast Service (SCE)

The G6 Alliance together with ZIM have decided to nominate DaChan Bay for their new Trans-Pacific SCE Service calling the U.S. East Coast.

The SCE's maiden call of the ZIM VIRGINIA berthed alongside DaChan Bay on 19 May.

The G6 Alliance partners will deploy 4 vessels which will include 2 ships from OOCL, 1 ship from NYK and 1 ship from Hapag-Lloyd. ZIM will deploy 5 vessels in the new string. Other G6 Alliance member lines (HMM, MOL and APL) will take slots on this new service as well.

DaChan Bay's Chief Executive Officer Mr. Benjamin Lai said "we welcome the G6 Alliance to DaChan Bay together with our long time customer ZIM.

The addition of the SCE Asia-US East Coast All Water Service marks another significant milestone in the development of DaChan Bay and we look forward to growing our business with the G6 Alliance in the years to come".

The SCE Service will call DaChan Bay every Saturday, following a port rotation of Xiamen - Kaosiung - DaChan Bay - Hong Kong - Yantian - (Panama Canal) - Manzanillo (Panama) - Kingston - Savannah - Charleston - Kingston - Manzanillo (Panama) - (Panama Canal) - Xiamen.
