DaChan Bay Terminals welcomes new West Coast South America service by "K" Line / MOL/ NYK

DaChan Bay Terminals welcomed the maiden call of its new West Coast South America service jointly operated by Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha ("K" Line), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), and Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK).

The new consortium is equipped by 4 container vessels from “K” Line, 3 vessels from MOL and 3 vessels from NYK, bringing more port rotation coverage between DaChan Bay Terminals and Latin America to meet the growing demand in Asia - Mexico and West Coast South America trade.

“K” Line / MOL/ NYK will meet a broad range of customer needs by continually offering high-quality, reliable service to this expanding trade, while DaChan Bay Terminals' unbeatable location and service excellence will match their service pledge seamlessly. 

A total of 10 container vessels with an average loadable capacity of 3,300 TEUs are being deployed for the service, which provides weekly fixed day calls at DaChan Bay Terminals every Sunday, covering the following port rotation of Yokohama - Keelung - Hong Kong - DaChan Bay - Xiamen - Shanghai - Busan -  Manzanillo (Mexico) - Callao (Peru) - Iquique (Chile) - Valparaiso (Chile) - Lirquen (Chile) - Callao - Manzanillo - Yokohama.
