CMA CGM Strengthens Partnership with DaChan Bay Terminals by Opening an Additional Far East-India-Pakistan Service

French shipping company CMA CGM strengthens its partnership with DaChan Bay Terminals (DCB), the newest, first-class container terminal in West Shenzhen, by joining Maersk’s Far East- India-Pakistan Service in addition to its current strings at the terminal.

CMA CGM has been using DCB through slots chartering.  The terminal’s operational excellence and top notch customer service are highly appreciated by the customer as warranted in its business expansion at the terminal.

CMA CGM’s deployment of a 5,500 TEU vessel for the Far East- India-Pakistan Service contributes to an extended efficient port rotation coverage and competitive transit time between DaChan Bay and Far East, India and Pakistan. .  The service’s weekly berthing date also changed from Tuesday to Monday while maintaining its schedule integrity.

A total of six container ships with an average capacity of 5,500 TEUs are being deployed for the service, covering the following port rotation of Kwangyang - Busan - Shanghai - Hong Kong - DaChan Bay - Tanjung Pelepas - Colombo - Pipavav - Nhava Sheva - Port Muhammad Bin Qasim - Port Kelang - Tanjung Pelepas - Singapore - Hong Kong - Kwangyang.
