DaChan Bay Terminals Welcomes Asia-Mediterranean-Europe Service of ZIM

DaChan Bay Terminals (DCB), the newest and first-class container terminal facility in West Shenzhen, welcomed a new string of ZIM service, Asia-Mediterranean-Europe service (AME) yesterday.  This is the fifth string of ZIM to call at DaChan Bay Terminals, as the partnership between them continues to strengthen with more strings calling DCB.

Both DaChan Bay Terminals and its customer ZIM enjoy the benefits of their win-win partnership, which leverages on a full array of value propositions brought by DCB’s strategic location in West Shenzhen and business expansion of ZIM in the prosperous Pearl River Delta (PRD) market. DCB’s proximity to manufacturing areas in PRD and the presence of excellent network of highways and waterways provides efficient trucking solutions and unparallel barge connection.

ZIM’s Asia-Mediterranean-Europe service provides weekly calls at DaChan Bay Terminals every Saturday, deploying 12 container vessels with an average capacity of 4,000 TEUs each.  The service follows a port rotation of Shanghai - DaChan Bay- Port Kelang - Colombo - Nhava Sheva - Suez - Haifa - Ashdod - Felixstowe - Antwerp - Hamburg - Alexandria - Limassol - Haifa - Ashdod - Suez - Colombo - Shanghai.
