Shenzhen Maritime Safety Administration Hosts Seminar for Port and Shipping Enterprises at DaChan Bay Terminals

Shenzhen Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) hosted a seminar this morning with invited enterprises from the port and shipping industry, at the control tower of DaChan Bay Terminals. Around 40 representatives attended the seminar with the theme of “Growing together under economic depression”.

The seminar aimed to find solutions for assisting the industry to take effective initiatives to minimize the influence of the economic depression. Officials from MSA listened to the suggestions and opinions on topics such as the Tonggu Channel, port charges and other issues raised by the representatives.

Director General Mr. Zhang Jianbin from MSA, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Andrew Milliken and Development Director Mr. Bernard Wong of DaChan Bay Terminal One also attended the seminar.

The MSA also hosted similar seminars at Shekou and Yantian Terminals to establish good platform for communication between MSA and the enterprises, and for MSA to adjust administration decisions and initiatives to help the port and shipping industry to tackle the economic depression.
