DaChan Bay Terminals Starts Export Container Operation by Welcoming MOL Africa Service

DaChan Bay Terminals takes pride in welcoming the Africa service, ZAX, of MOL (China) Co. since late June 2008. This marks the Terminal’s commencement of laden container operation for export cargoes.

Deploying 7 vessels of an average capacity of 1,600 TEUs, the ZAX service is making weekly call at DaChan Bay Terminals in its rotation via Shanghai (China) - Xiamen (China) - DaChan Bay Terminals (China) - Hong Kong (China) - Singapore - Tamatave (Madagascar) - Durban (South Africa) - Maputo (Mozambique) - Singapore - Shanghai (China).

So far, 5 vessels of the Africa service have called at DaChan Bay Terminals and experienced the Terminal’s excellent services which are achieved by very close co-operation between the Terminal and DaChan Bay Customs, Frontier Inspection, Quarantine Inspection and Maritime Safety, all of which are committed to handling customs clearance and cargo inspection for direct import and export, transfer and international transshipment at the shortest time at DaChan Bay Terminals.
