DaChan Bay Terminals Signs MOU for Co-operation in the Development of DaChan Bay Terminals with Shenzhen Customs

Today, DaChan Bay Terminals, Shenzhen Dachan Bay Port Investment and Development Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Customs signed the Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) for Co-operation in the Development of DaChan Bay Terminals in Shenzhen Wuzhou Hotel.

The three parties announced their commitments in the MOU respectively on the signing ceremony. Shenzhen Customs committed that they would open all customs services for DaChan Bay Terminals in all aspects such as Direct Import and Export Customs Clearance, Transfer Customs Clearance on both landside and waterside, and International Transshipment Declaration etc. Meanwhile DaChan Bay Terminal One also addressed its responsibilities on issues like terminal administration, import and export cargo supervision, transshipment and information system sharing and security etc. 

Mr. Chen Wenjiang, Vice Secretary General of Shenzhen Municipal government was present at the signing ceremony and delivered a speech conveying his confidence about the future of DaChan Bay Terminals. He also encouraged the three parties to make joint efforts on developing the Terminals to make contributions to the Port-focus strategy in the overall development plan of Shenzhen economy.

Up to now, all custom services are ready for full operation in DaChan Bay Terminal One, which includes all services for laden and empty containers, export and import, as well as transshipment businesses. The office for DaChan Bay Customs (Preparatory Team) has been located on the third floor of the main office building of DaChan Bay Terminals, consisting of experienced working crew.
