A Southeast Asia Service Starts Calling at DaChan Bay Terminals
DaChan Bay Terminals welcomed the intra-Asia service Orchid operated by Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) which has started calling at the terminals in Western Shenzhen on 27 October 2021.
Besides enhancing connectivity between China and Southeast Asia, the Orchid service provides linkage at DaChan Bay Terminals to the recently launched MSC’s Puma service to the US West Coast.
DaChan Bay Terminals Managing Director Brian Yeung said: “We are honoured to welcome two services operated by MSC, a world leading shipping company, in one month. The Orchid service has enhanced the intra-Asia coverage of our terminals.”
Four container vessels are deployed in the Orchid service which calls DaChan Bay Terminals every Monday with a port rotation of Fuzhou – Shantou – Hong Kong – Shekou – Yantian – Haiphong – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Haiphong – Yantian – DaChan Bay – Hong Kong – Fuzhou.
